There weren't too many issues surrounding Thierry Henry's career with Arsenal but stepping into the shoes of Nicolas Anelka was one of them.
The north London club's all-time leading scorer arrived at the club from Juventus as a wiry winger back in 1999 and was taken with the job of filling the void left by Anelka who had just been signed by Real Madrid.
?Henry admitted it was a difficult job to replace his former les Bleus colleague and regrets the fact he never got play next to the striker at club level.
?"When I arrived at Arsenal, it was to follow Nicolas Anelka. Not easy at all," he told L'Equipe.
?"No matter that he went to Real Madrid, he will forever remain in my eyes one one of the best strikers with whom I played."?
