Mathias Pogba has pulled from accusations aimed at younger brother and Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.

Mathias, in a video message on social media, threatened revelations about Paul and also claimed the use of a marabout to damage PSG striker Kylian Mbappe.

In response, the former Manchester United midfielder's management team took the case to French authorities claiming a €13m extortion attempt.

But now Mathias' lawyer, Richard Arbib told RMC: "Given the evolution of the case and its media impact, Mathias Pogba wishes to strongly indicate that he is totally foreign to any maneuver of extortion with regard to his brother, Paul Pogba. It is clear that the difficulties experienced by the Pogba family are the result of external threats, of which the Justice, now seized, will take full measure.

"Mathias Pogba, who aspires more than anything to calm the situation with his brother, will now reserve his word for the investigating judges in charge of this case, if necessary."
