Everton manager Roberto Martinez is adamant the Toffees are not even considering selling defender John Stones during the January transfer window, despite renewed interest from Chelsea.
The Blues tabled an offer close to £40million in an attempt to lure Stones to Stamford Bridge during the summer and are expected to come in for talented 21-year-old again once the window reopens.
"It doesn't matter if Chelsea come back in for him," Martinez said.
"We created a squad to see how far we could go over 10 months. January doesn't come into consideration.
"We'll never lose anyone in January — unless it's somebody who hasn't been playing and we need to find a solution. If he's a top performer, it's not even a consideration."
