Istanbul Basaksehir have declared interest in Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil.

Ozil, though recalled for victory at Burnley, is enduring a tense time with manager Unai Emery.

Istanbul Basaksehir are aware of Ozil's problems and would be open to discussing terms with Arsenal for the midfielder.

President Goksel Gumusdag confirmed to BILD: "Mesut Özil is a very valuable player.

"I hope that one day our paths cross at Basaksehir. If he wants to be with us as well, we would do anything to get him."

Istanbul Basaksehir are currently top of the table in Turkey.
