Istanbul Basaksehir have announced a partnership agreement with Manchester City's umbrella company.

On Sunday, Istanbul Basaksehir issued a press release regarding a future collaboration with City Football Group.

The statement says nothing about a purchase of ownership shares.

In the future, City Football Group will provide advice to Basaksehir. This advice will involve everything from strategy development to transfers and use of data.

In return, City Football Group gains new knowledge and the opportunity to develop relationships in Turkey, which has a wide pool of talent, Basaksehir states.

City Football Group already has 13 different football clubs spread over five different continents.
