Stephen Ireland is delighted with his current form at Aston Villa.
Ireland has been used as a conventional central midfielder rather than playing further forward 'in the hole' in recent games and even made a goalline clearance against Sunderland.
"I am playing a different role - a bit deeper," he said.
"I'm doing a team job which I am happy to do. I had to clear one off the line as well as create something, so it is good.
"Every game is different for me and I am learning different positions, which is good. As long as I am playing I am happy."
