Republic of Ireland boss Martin O'Neill could select Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish to face England - and so end the debate over his international future.
The Mirror says Grealish will commit his future to England if it is clear that he will feature in Roy Hodgson's plans in the long term.
But Ireland boss O'Neill has been in regular contact and would happily call him up for the Republic's friendly with England in Dublin in June - and that could put him on collision course with Hodgson.
His dad joked in an interview with talkSPORT: "There's a friendly in June coming up, he could play a half for Ireland and a half for England."
