Portsmouth goalkeeper Asmir Begovich has signed a three-month loan deal with Championship outfit Ipswich Town.

The 22-year old Bosnia-Herzegovina international has been at Fratton Park since 2005 but has been loaned out on a number of occasions to further his development.

Begovic has appeared twice in the Pompey first team this season, taking the gloves in defeats against Manchester City and Arsenal and will be a welcome addition at Portman Road.
