Championship strugglers Ipswich are charging more than Liverpool or Manchester United for their top-priced season tickets. Season tickets for Portman Road for the 2010-11 season cost up to £1,001.
By contrast Manchester United charge £931 for their most expensive seats, while Liverpool demand £785, according to the survey in Four Four Two magazine.
Only the big three London clubs charge more for their prime season tickets, with Spurs demanding up to £1,210, Chelsea £1,695 and Arsenal a whopping £1,825 for the best seats in the house.
All the sides offer cheaper season ticket options, however, and an Ipswich spokesman told the magazine that those paying out over a grand to watch the Tractor Boys do at least get "the best view, plus a bit more legroom".
