AC Milan boss Pippo Inzaghi has welcomed their swoop for Liverpool midfielder Suso.

Suso has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract, arriving six months earlier than expected from Liverpool.

"We are very happy to have Suso here and the fact he arrived early means he'll be given more of an opportunity to acclimatise," said the Coach.

"Suso can give us an important hand this season. He has great quality and can also play in a more central role.

"Suso is here because Riccardo Saponara wanted more playing time and we could not guarantee him that. I think going to Empoli on loan was the right decision for him and hope he'll return in June."
