Inter Milan midfielder Thiago Motta is ready to face former club Barcelona next week.

"We will need to be at our best if we are to get the better of them," the tough tackling midfielder noted.

"But we will have the crowd on our side and my team is ready to play a tough and intelligent encounter."

Barca will have former Inter hero Zlatan Ibrahimovic in their ranks, but the Nerazzurri will respond with ex Nou Camp favourite Samuel Eto'o.

"Eto'o is definitely an added weapon for us, but there are other players who can decide such an important game. I remain hopeful."
