AC Milan striker Ronaldo and Inter's Adriano enjoyed a drink at a mutual friend's birthday party on Saturday night in Rio de Janeiro.

Ole says Adriano, who has signed a loan agreement with Sao Paulo for the rest of the season, was spotted downing beers during the evening, while Ronaldo also was seen drinking.

The birthday boy, Andre Barbosa, told Estadao.com: "They drank a little, but without exaggeration."

A Sao Paulo official also insisted: "Adriano is on a break. He can enjoy himself, without going over the top."
