Finnish entrepreneur Thomas Zilliacus has invited Sheikh Jassim to join him in buying a Serie A club.

Like Zilliacus before him, Sheikh Jassim has pulled out of the bidding to buy Manchester United.

Zilliacus has now invited the Qatari to join him in entering Italian football, with Inter Milan in his sights.

The Finn posted to social media: "I'm happy to see that you too have come to the same conclusion as me a few months ago.

"Now let's join forces, let's buy a top Italian club and make it the best in the world."

Zilliacus has previously told Tribalfootball.com he has been in regular contact with Inter owners, Suning, over the past year.
