Inter Milan vice-president Javier Zanetti admits they cannot compete with Saudi Pro League spending.

Inter face losing Marcelo Brozovic this summer, who is a target for SPL teams.

Zanetti said: "Saudi Arabia? With the arrival of Ronaldo, a domino effect has occurred. They have started investing a lot, aiming not only in Italy, but also in the Premier League and in Spanish football.

"They want to bring players into their league who are ready to favor the growth of the movement.

"I don't know if it will be able to represent an antagonist of European football, but certainly at an economic level there is a lot of difference and at the moment it is very difficult to compete with this reality."
