Inter Milan veteran Cordoba: Guarin arrival great for Colombian football

Inter Milan veteran Ivan Cordoba has welcomed the signing of former Porto wing-back Fredy Guarin.

Cordoba has played with Guarin for the Colombia national team.

"The purchase of Guarin was great news for Colombia and for all Colombians, because the fact that a Colombian football player is observed with devotion and then hired by a big European club is important," smiled Cordoba with FCInterNews.it.

"Fredy was not only sought by Inter but by many top European clubs, but thanks to God and the desire of President Moratti to bring him here and bet on him, the player came to us.

"Fredy is experiencing right now a big dream."
