Inter Milan chief Piero Ausilio has been tasked to find a new head of scouting.

The Nerazzurri have lost Massimiliano Mirabelli to AC Milan and Inter's owners, Suning, have told Ausilio to fill the position as soon as he can.

Ausilio favours a former player for the job and has three candidates on his shortlist.

Former Inter defender Ivan Cordoba is under consideration, along with Gian Paolo Manighetti and Ivone De Franceschi.

The latter two are already part of Inter's youth level scouting team.
