Inter Milan are joining the race for Manchester United fullback Daley Blind.

Calciomercato.com says Inter Milan and Barcelona are interested in the former Ajax captain, with the 27-year-old set to become a free agent next summer.

The Red Devils have instead preferred Luke Shaw and Ashley Young in recent weeks to Blind, meaning Mourinho could sanction the move to bring in extra funds for new players.

The Blaugrana will likely lose Javier Mascherano next month and Blind could operate as a ball-playing centre-back at the Camp Nou.
