Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti insists coach Gian Piero Gasperini is safe after last night's shock defeat against Trabzonspor. The 1-0 Champions League reverse came just days after defeat at Palermo.
"I think the players were still in shock (from Palermo)," said Moratti. "But we cannot always put the blame at his (Gasperini) feet.
"The coach needs time to work."
Moratti added: "Maybe we didn't play at a quick enough pace and failed to take our chances. But the coach cannot be blamed for this."
