Inter Milan chief Ernesto Paolillo admits they're delighted to have won the first NextGen Series competition.

Inter won the final against Ajax yesterday.

"It's a competition that has not had proper attention from the media but will grow; plus the fact there will be matches between the big European teams such as CSKA Moscow, PSG, etc ... Now the youth sector is a fundamental area, an excellence that everyone wants to show," said Paolillo.

"It seems normal that the president (Massimo Moratti) chose to follow the game in Amsterdam, even though its the same day of the Juventus game. It is fitting that at an event like this there is the President."
