Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has cooled talk of moving for ex-England coach Fabio Capello.

Capello has been repeatedly linked with the Nerazzurri over the years and confirmed some preliminary negotiations were held over the summer.

"The theories reported by the media regarding a possible change of management, either now or at the end of the season, are entirely without foundation," Moratti declared on the official Inter website.

"The latest rumour, regarding Fabio Capello's arrival at Inter, is equally unfounded."
