Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti was beaming after seeing his team reached the Champions League final last night.
Barcelona defeated Inter 1-0 in the second-leg of their semifinal, but were bundled out 3-2 on aggregate.
Moratti beamed: "This team played with 10 men in the back yard of the Club World Cup holders. We saw great character, a great squad and great individuals.
"I am feeling infinite joy. I hope it can be a passing of the baton from Barcelona to Inter. We are in the running for the Scudetto, Coppa Italia and Champions League.
"Tonight again Mourinho was a phenomenon and the lads were marvellous with immense character.
"They knew exactly what to do at every moment of the match. They played so intelligently. I hope the Inter fans feel as happy as I do right now."
