Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has fired back at Jose Mourinho over claims his squad isn't good enough.

"I know Mourinho, he likes to provoke fans and journalists," replied President Moratti on Sky Sport 24.

"He creates a situation to fire everyone up and I take this as a provocation to get the players he wants. I don't think we are so far off the other teams, but also trust in the experience of the Coach who knows what elements he needs.

"We will not need miracles, just as winning the Scudetto was not a miracle, so I don't think it will be difficult, nor miraculous, to do better than last season in the Champions League."
