Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has explained why he's allowed Adriano to sign on-loan with Sao Paulo.

"There is still some work to be done on the deal, but both sides are happy," Moratti explained. "It's the right decision for his good. I'm convinced that at the start of next season he will return to being a great player.

"He is happy on home soil, he's working well and getting help physically and psychologically. He's improving with every day."
