Juventus risk being trumped by Inter Milan for Werder Bremen midfield ace Diego.
Gazzetta dello Sport says Diego's performance at the San Siro last week against AC Milan has convinced Inter president Massimo Moratti to explore the prospect to signing the Brazilian.
Juve have so far baulked at Werder's £18 million cash demands, but Moratti would have no problem coughing up for the midfield schemer.
Inter almost signed Diego as a 17 year-old as he starred in a Santos midfield which also featured Robinho and Elano, both now of Manchester City.
