Everton are being linked with a move for Portuguese central midfielder Joao Mario.

The Inter Milan star is on the market this summer, with his club looking to cash in.

The 26-year-old, who was at West Ham United on loan last season, is also attracting interest from Porto and Monaco.

The Daily Mail claim Everton have been offered the opportunity to sign him for £15 million.

Mario has played 20 times in Serie A this season, netting a goal and assisting his teammates twice.

Everton may go for him if they are unable to sign Andre Gomes permanently from Barcelona.
