Inter Milan midfielder Felipe Melo is delighted to be playing for Stefano Pioli.

Melo, despite his dismissal in victory over Sassuolo, says he's been given a new lease on life by Pioli.

"He gave me confidence making me feel like a player again. He gave me the chance to play, I thank him and especially God, it is important for me to come back and help the team win," said Melo.

"I still have a half year on my contract.

"There's no offers, I'm in the team of my heart and I am happy here, thank God."
