Inter Milan midfielder Philippe Coutinho is delighted with his preseason form.

The Brazilian spent the last six months on loan at Espanyol and earned a recall to San Siro, where he is flourishing in pre-season.

"I am doing well because Stramaccioni has faith in me," smiled the 20-year-old after he was named MVP in Saturday night's Trofeo TIM.

"We were well set out on the field and it was a good test. I put myself out on the left and ensured I was ready when the Juventus defence got distracted."
