Inter Milan medical chief Franco Combi is delighted with the progress made by Adriano as he undergoes treatment for depression in Brazil.

Combi visited Adriano in Sao Paulo yesterday and also took in his fitness sessions with physiotherapists Alessandro Sasaki and Ricardo Pereira.

A spokesman for Sao Paulo said: "He remained enthusiastic about how he found Adriano and the structure that is hosting him.

"Dr Combi noted that Brazil is doing very good things for Adriano."
