Inter Milan goalkeeper Julio Cesar plans to make his playing comeback in the Club World Cup.
The shot-stopper was among many of his teammates to be suffering from muscular problems this season, but is regaining his fitness in time for the Abu Dhabi tournament.
"This is something truly important for me, as in all of my career I have never been on the sidelines for a long time," said the Brazilian.
"Now I am training with the squad and I think that I'll be there for the December 15 match. I am optimistic and hope to enjoy the kind of celebration we only get in Italy for an important trophy like this.
"Thank God I am in good shape and I can't wait to play."
