Inter Milan goalkeeper Julio Cesar admits he didn't enjoy the plastic pitch during last night's 1-0 win at CSKA Moscow.

Wesley Sneijder's early goal was enough to book Inter's place in the Champions League semifinals.

"We played very well and kept control of the game, which is why I didn't have many saves to make," Julio Cesar said.

"The pitch can really cause problems for a goalkeeper, especially very strong back ache."

Inter are in the final four for the first time in seven years and will face Barcelona in the next round.

"This is my first time in a Champions League semi-final and the same is true of many of my teammates.

"I am truly happy to be here. Now we must also keep our concentration in Serie A, because from now on every game will be like a Final."
