Inter Milan include Adriano in offer for Chelsea's Drogba

Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho will bid in January for Chelsea striker Didier Drogba. The Daily Star Sunday says Italian sources have confirmed, after weeks of speculation, that the former Chelsea boss will try to sign his Stamford Bridge centre forward in next month's transfer window.

And Inter Milan boss Mourinho is also ready to offer Brazil striker Adriano in exchange for fit-again Drogba.

The initial plan could even be for the two strikers to swap clubs on loan for the rest of this season.

Drogba admits he only joined Chelsea in the first place because of Mourinho.

He said: "To be honest I did not want to leave Marseille.

"But a coach took the time to speak to me and made me understand that to become one of the best strikers in the world I had to sign with Chelsea.

"This man is Jose Mourinho, a man I have a fantastic relationship with. He made me understand that refusing to join Chelsea would have been like a lack of ambition."
