Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho is chasing Manchester United starlet Kiko Macheda.

The People says friends close to Macheda's family already believe that the Rome-born youngster will move back to Italy in the next few weeks.

But Macheda only signed pro forms for Manchester United on his birthday last August and club insiders insisted last night that the teenager's future is at Old Trafford - not Italy.
