Inter Milan fullback Davide Santon says his move to Cesena has done wonders for him.
Santon joined Cesena on-loan in January.
"I can say it now: Cesena is exactly what I needed," said Santon on his return to the Azzurri.
"I am happy, rediscovered my confidence in a relaxed atmosphere where you can work well. There is so little tension there, we play good football and the Coach has clear ideas."
Santon was at the 2010 World Cup, but risked peaking in his career too soon and vanished from the international scene.
"Cesare Prandelli kept his word. He called me up as soon as I started playing regularly again. It was a great boost to my confidence to know he believed in me.
"My position can vary, as I play right, left, full-back or winger. However, tactical versatility can become a limitation rather than an advantage.
"I feel good on the right now, especially as if I go up then I don't have to turn in order to cross, like I do on the left."
