Inter Milan fullback Danilo D'Ambrosio hit out at their critics after their victory over Empoli.

Inter cruised to a 3-0 win on Sunday.

The result leaves Inter two points outside the top four.

D'Ambrosio later said, “I have to say Inter is not always protected enough, from all points of view. I've been here for 10 years and I've seen every sort of thing.

“There are always reasons to attack the club, the team and the coach. Those who have recently arrived have already understood how the atmosphere is here, we must keep our heads down and work hard."
