Parma midfielder Luca Cigarini is being lined up for a January move to Inter Milan.

Controcampo says the Italy U21 star is seen by Inter as cover for crocked midfield ace Patrick Vieira.

Inter chiefs are currently discussing whether to promote Francesco Bolzoni, 18, from their primavera team to cover Vieira's absence, or bid for Cigarini in January.
