Inter Milan are ready to sell Mateo Kovacic this summer.Sportmediaset says Inter intend to sacrifice Kovacic to help boost their transfer funds.

Liverpool are understood to have struck personal terms with the midfielder and are now discussing a price with Inter officials.

Liverpool's opening offer was €21 million, while Inter rate the youngster at €25 million.

Kovacic was in and out of Roberto Mancini's starting XI at Inter last season. The decision to sell has been taken after goalkeeper Samir Handanovic returned to the table for new contract negotiations last week.
