Inter Milan defender Skriniar: Man Utd, Man City attractive options - as are Real Madrid, Barcelona

Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar admits a move to England is an ambition.

Skriniar's representative, Karol Csonto, has name-checked Manchester United, Barcelona, Manchester City and Real Madrid as clubs interested in the defender, while also revealing a €65m was made and rejected by Inter in January.

Skriniar told Sport: "I recognise that this is a breathtaking sum, but it does not take much to raise prices. I did not try to do anything - sincerely. I left everything in the hands of my agent. I was told that Inter would not let me go, I'd like to stay, but if it was decided I would have gone."

He continued: "What attracts me most are Real and Barcelona, but even the clubs of Manchester are top clubs. The Premier League is the most competitive championship in the world, even if this season City are dominating. It would be difficult to decide which club to go to. It will also depend on the agreements or on what role they would guarantee me.

"If I had to go to a club to sit on the bench and play only in the cup I would not go anywhere."
