Inter Milan coach Stramaccioni satisfied with victory over Palermo

Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni was satisfied with their 1-0 win over Palermo.

The Nerazzurri scraped to a 1-0 victory thanks to Santiago Garcia putting through his own net.

"At a time like this when we are not at our best, I liked the attitude of the team and the consistent performance," said the Coach.

"In the second half we dipped in form again, then the goal made it all easier. We have specific characteristics and a structure that has to feed the strikers. Diego Milito just about passed a fitness test to be here and gave his contribution.

"We played as well as we could right now, allowing Palermo only long-range efforts and that is an important sign.

"I replaced Milito with Fredy Guarin because we were too crammed into the Palermo box and I wanted to create some space with a player further away from the area. Thankfully it went well. Antonio Cassano has different characteristics to Philippe Coutinho, so we couldn't take the same approach we had against Juventus."
