Inter Milan coach Ranieri: Motta pushed for PSG

Inter Milan coach Claudio Ranieri insists Thiago Motta pushed to move to PSG.

Inter were thrashed 4-0 by AS Roma last night, though Ranieri refused to blame the defeat on the departure of Motta.

"Thiago Motta? Holding him against his will would have been counterproductive, the boy wanted to test himself in a new kind of football," said the coach.
