Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini admits they were keen on signing Alexandre Pato, who will make his AC Milan debut today against Napoli.
He said: "I think Carlo Ancelotti can give him all the advice he needs. I've seen Pato play several times and doubt he'll have problems settling in. He has great quality and certainly a big future ahead of him.
"We were interested in Pato and tried to sign him, like many clubs did, but unfortunately you can't get every player you'd want."
