Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini defended Mauro Icardi's performance in their 1-1 draw with Palermo.
Icardi's goal drought continues and he again failed to get a single shot on target.
“These periods happen to all strikers at some stage, the important thing is that he stays calm and takes part in the team move," said Mancini.
“I don't know if it's an issue of service, but he's only been playing alongside Jovetic for seven games, so they need time to gel.
“We do have to improve this aspect and I played with two attacking full-backs tonight in order to create more scoring opportunities. We must stay calm, as we've got good players.
“We will keep working to find the right system, but in the meantime it's important to stay in the top places. We will find the best tactical shape.
“Geoffrey Kondogbia? He was playing well, but I substituted him today because he was at risk of a second yellow card."
