DC United have announced the appointment of Enzo Concina as the club's new assistant coach.
The 52-year old Italian-Canadian has departed his role with Italian giants Inter Milan to take up a position on Ben Olsen's coaching staff but will remain as a scout for the Nerazzurri.
Olsen said in a statement: "Enzo will add a wealth of experience and knowledge to our staff.
"We are extremely pleased that he has joined our coaching staff."
The former Napoli assistant arrives in Washington as part of the affiliation between Inter and DC, made possible by Inter president Erick Thohir who holds majority of ownership of both outfits.
Concina had a 12-year playing career in Italy with clubs such as Ravenna, Cesena, Pavia, Piacenza, Monza, S.S. Nola and Forli before spending time with Montreal Impact in 1994 when the Canadian club competed in the old NASL. He also played four times for Canada.
