Inter Milan chief Sabatini admits deal off for Arsenal defender Mustafi

Inter Milan chief Walter Sabatini says a deal is off for Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi.

Sabatini has hinted Arsenal are demanding too much to sell.

“We made an attempt for Mustafi, but decided to 'recycle' someone else instead," he said.

Sabatini also denied reports they missed out on Roma signing Patrik Schick.

“I'm sorry, but you were wrong when you said that we missed out on Schick for €4m. I discovered Schick when he was in the second division and wanted him then, but economically we couldn't do it.

“Now Roma will enjoy him. We would've liked him at Inter, but had our reasons not to see it through."
