Inter Milan chief Marotta: We have requests for Gabigol and Lautaro

Inter Milan chief Beppe Marotta is hopeful of keeping hold of Lautaro Martinez.

The Argentina striker is being watched by Barcelona after it emerged his contract carries a €111m buyout clause.

But Marotta insists Inter are counting on Martinez going into the future.

"Lautaro has great authority, he grows from match to match. He certainly has a very important career in front of him," said Marotta before Martinez's brace in last night's Champions League win over Slavia Prague.

On Gabriel Barbosa, who has just won the Copa Libertadores with Flamengo, Marotta added: "The same goes for Gabigol as for Lautaro. We have requests and we will decide very calmly."
