Inter Milan cannot afford to relax, despite being ten points clear at the top of the Serie A table, says goalkeeper Julio Cesar.

Julio Cesar said: "Since I've been in Italy I've seen so many things in Serie A. In football anything can happen and so it's crucial to keep our heads and continue working, because the season isn't over.

"We know it's a good advantage to have, but we cannot forget this sport holds some incredible surprises."

Juventus-Inter was also a battle between arguably the two best goalkeepers in the world right now, certainly the top two in Italy.

"From the moment I arrived in Serie A I wanted to prove my quality and after four years I think I've been able to do that," smiled the Inter shot-stopper.

"Gianluigi Buffon has been astoundingly consistent since making his debut as a teenager and in my view there is no better goalkeeper in the world.

"I thanked Buffon after the match, as he had kind words about me in the media this week and that represented a real boost."
