Inter Milan's squad isn't good enough, says their coach Jose Mourinho. "I don't want to be critical of my team but the squad is not what I wanted," claimed the Portuguese.
"I can't ask the President anything more. It means I will have to work more but I cannot make miracles. I am no Harry Potter or Merlin.
"The Champions League is a competition of details and quality. Regarding the former we are behind the best three or four teams. We can only win if things go our way but we will start behind the favourites."
He added: "Our central defenders will be the same apparently. I wanted to play higher up but I needed a centre-half who could play the ball, if we don't get him then I cannot play that way. We will work on the 4-3-3 formation which at the end of the season proved to be balanced enough for us."
