Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini insists he still rates Nemanja Vidic.
The former Manchester United captain has struggled to win over Mancini since the former Manchester City manager's return.
But after victory over Atalanta, Mancini declared: "I am not ignoring Vidic.
"Vidic is important, we have the league and the Europa League to deal with and he will be needed."
Mancini insists their move for released Parma defender Dias Felipe bears no reflection on Vidic.
"We are considering the purchase of Felipe because of injuries, so we could have some problems in number, but we'll wait."
