Ainsley Maitland-Niles is considering his Arsenal future after receiving interest in Italy.
The versatile academy graduate was fired a warning by Gunners manager Mikel Arteta after he made a cameo appearance in Monday's FA Cup win over Portsmouth.
The Spaniard said: "Ainsley needs to put his head down and work hard.
"Show me every day in training that he wants it more than anyone else, he wants to play for this club and fight for his place."
Calciomercatois reporting that Inter Milan and AC Milan are monitoring the situation.
But any move could hinder on the Italian clubs preference of playing Maitland-Niles at right-back, with the 22-year-old preferring to operate in midfield.
