Manchester City and Inter Milan have reportedly had discussions over the sale of Carlos Tevez, reports Click Manchester. City are desperate to get Tevez off their hands after a deal with Corinthians collapsed last week.
Sportitalia and Argentina's Ole claim Inter chief Marco Branca met with City officials this week to outline plans over the signing of the Argentine.
It was agreed the deal would wait until the second-half of August when Inter will know whether the likes of Wesley Sneijder and Lucio will be staying or going, both of whom will attract big fees.
City are understood to be happy with the situation and also informed Branca they are willing to slash their current 50 million asking price to get Tevez off the books.
