Emiliano Insua says fellow Liverpool fullback Glen Johnson is the best in the Premiership.

Johnson has received some criticism for his defending this season, but Insua insists he is the best going around.

The Argentina international told LFC Weekly magazine: "I think he's the best attacking full-back in the Premier League.

"He's very powerful and has great skills when it comes to going past defenders. His crossing is also very good.

"I think we have been very strong when attacking down that side of the pitch this season and it's definitely given us more threat. Glen has been a great signing."
